Our Origin Story
BenchToBusinessFellows was born from a simple truth
Lab professionals are capable of so much more than we’re often told. Born from the heart of diagnostics, we are a network of medical laboratory professionals, healthcare specialists, and diagnostics enthusiasts who are boldly transitioning from traditional lab roles into business, leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship. We understand the silent hunger many scientists feel, to do more, to be seen, to build, to lead. And we’re here to say: it’s possible.
Whether you’re dreaming of launching your own diagnostic business, transitioning into commercial life sciences, or amplifying your voice in the industry, BenchToBusinessFellows provides the platform, tools, mentorship, and encouragement to get you there.
Founded by Nancy Njoku-Attah, a Clinical Scientist turned Commercial Life Science Executive, the initiative is powered by the belief that visibility is a pivot strategy and that diagnostic professionals deserve to thrive, not just survive.
